Terms of use

Konfeti (a BelgaCai project) is a service that lets individuals organize events: invitations, replies, chat, "who's bringing what" organizing, polls and a shared pot. By creating an event or taking part in one, you agree to these terms.

You need to create an account (email or Google) to use Konfeti: reply to an event, chat, organize "who's bringing what" or contribute to a pot. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

• Stay respectful in chat and messages exchanged with other participants
• Don't post unlawful, abusive content or content that infringes on others' rights
• Don't use Konfeti to send unsolicited messages (spam)
• Hosts are responsible for moderating their own event

Konfeti reserves the right to remove any clearly unlawful content and, in case of repeated abuse, to suspend an account.

When a pot is enabled on an event, payments are processed by our provider Stripe and paid directly into the host's bank account, never into a Konfeti account. Konfeti automatically takes a service fee from each contribution, the amount of which is shown before the payment is confirmed. Contributions made are final and can't be refunded through Konfeti, unless stated otherwise at the time of payment. The host remains solely responsible for how the funds raised are used.

Konfeti provides an organizing tool, but is not a party to the events organized by its users. Konfeti can't be held liable for the consequences related to the organizing or running of an event, nor for content published by hosts and guests.

Konfeti strives to keep the service available, without guaranteeing a total absence of interruptions or errors.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. This action removes your personal information and makes you leave all your ongoing events.

These terms may change over time. In case of a significant change, we'll let you know through the app.
